Key differences

The MPF500T has about 32% more logic capacity (481K vs 364K LUT4 equivalents).

They use different logic architectures: the 10AX048 is built from ALMs and the MPF500T from LUT4, so the raw LUT counts (182K vs 481K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the MPF500T has 1,480 18×18 math blocks (MACC) against 1,368 variable-precision DSP blocks on the 10AX048.

Both have transceivers: 36 at up to 17.4 Gb/s on the 10AX048 and 24 at up to 12.7 Gb/s on the MPF500T.

Configuration memory: sram on the 10AX048, non-volatile (sonos flash) on the MPF500T.

The 10AX048 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the MPF500T with Microchip Libero SoC.
