Key differences

Both devices offer similar logic capacity: 1866K and 1891K LUT4 equivalents.

They use different logic architectures: the GX 2800 is built from ALMs and the XCVU9P from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (933K vs 1182K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the XCVU9P has 6,840 DSP slices against 5,760 variable-precision DSP blocks on the GX 2800.

The XCVU9P has more on-chip memory (345.9 Mb vs 229 Mb).

Both have transceivers: 96 at up to 28.3 Gb/s on the GX 2800 and 120 at up to 32.75 Gb/s on the XCVU9P.

The GX 2800 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the XCVU9P with AMD Vivado.
