Key differences

Both devices offer similar logic capacity: 50K and 48K LUT4 equivalents.

They use different logic architectures: the EP4CGX50 is built from LUT4 and the XCSU60P from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (50K vs 30K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the XCSU60P has 144 DSP slices against 140 18×18 multipliers on the EP4CGX50.

The XCSU60P has more on-chip memory (3.4 Mb vs 2.4 Mb).

Both have transceivers: 8 at up to 3.125 Gb/s on the EP4CGX50 and 4 at up to 16.3 Gb/s on the XCSU60P.

The EP4CGX50 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the XCSU60P with AMD Vivado.
