Key differences

The GX 650 has about 15% more logic capacity (415K vs 360K LUT4 equivalents).

They use different logic architectures: the GX 650 is built from ALMs and the XC2KU050P from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (207K vs 225K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the XC2KU050P has 1,872 DSP slices against 1,152 variable-precision DSP blocks on the GX 650.

Both have transceivers: 24 at up to 28.3 Gb/s on the GX 650 and 24 at up to 32.75 Gb/s on the XC2KU050P.

The GX 650 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the XC2KU050P with AMD Vivado.
