Key differences

Both devices offer similar logic capacity: 570K and 546K LUT4 equivalents.

They use different logic architectures: the GX 850 is built from ALMs and the XCKU13P from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (285K vs 341K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the XCKU13P has 3,528 DSP slices against 2,016 variable-precision DSP blocks on the GX 850.

The GX 850 has more on-chip memory (68 Mb vs 57.7 Mb).

Both have transceivers: 48 at up to 28.3 Gb/s on the GX 850 and 28 at up to 16.3 Gb/s on the XCKU13P.

The GX 850 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the XCKU13P with AMD Vivado.
