Key differences

Both devices offer similar logic capacity: 163K and 174K LUT4 equivalents.

They use different logic architectures: the LAV-AT-X30 is built from LUT4 and the XCAU20P from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (163K vs 109K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the XCAU20P has 900 DSP slices against 700 18×18 multipliers on the LAV-AT-X30.

The LAV-AT-X30 has more on-chip memory (14.4 Mb vs 7 Mb).

Both have transceivers: 12 at up to 25 Gb/s on the LAV-AT-X30 and 12 at up to 32.75 Gb/s on the XCAU20P.

The LAV-AT-X30 is designed with Lattice Radiant and the XCAU20P with AMD Vivado.
