Highlighted values are higher. LUT counts are shown as published; the LUT4 equivalent is an approximation to compare different LUT types, see how FPGA vendors count logic. Add up to two more devices to this comparison.

Key differences

The MPF200T has about 8% more logic capacity (192K vs 178K LUT4 equivalents).

They use different logic architectures: the 5SGSD3 is built from ALMs and the MPF200T from LUT4, so the raw LUT counts (89K vs 192K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the 5SGSD3 has 600 variable-precision DSP blocks against 588 18×18 math blocks (MACC) on the MPF200T.

The 5SGSD3 has more on-chip memory (13.4 Mb vs 12 Mb).

Both have transceivers: 24 at up to 14.1 Gb/s on the 5SGSD3 and 16 at up to 12.7 Gb/s on the MPF200T.

Configuration memory: sram on the 5SGSD3, non-volatile (sonos flash) on the MPF200T.

The 5SGSD3 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the MPF200T with Microchip Libero SoC.
