Highlighted values are higher. LUT counts are shown as published; the LUT4 equivalent is an approximation to compare different LUT types, see how FPGA vendors count logic. Add up to two more devices to this comparison.

Key differences

Both devices offer similar logic capacity: 899K and 882K LUT4 equivalents.

They use different logic architectures: the DX 1100 is built from ALMs and the XCVR1652 from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (449K vs 551K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the DX 1100 has 2,592 variable-precision DSP blocks against 2,256 DSP Engines on the XCVR1652.

The XCVR1652 has more on-chip memory (139 Mb vs 107 Mb).

Both have transceivers: 32 at up to 57.8 Gb/s on the DX 1100 and 20 at up to 58 Gb/s on the XCVR1652.

The DX 1100 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the XCVR1652 with AMD Vivado.
