Highlighted values are higher. LUT counts are shown as published; the LUT4 equivalent is an approximation to compare different LUT types, see how FPGA vendors count logic. Add up to two more devices to this comparison.

Key differences

Both devices offer similar logic capacity: 1866K and 1873K LUT4 equivalents.

They use different logic architectures: the SX 2800 is built from ALMs and the XC2VP3402 from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (933K vs 1171K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the XC2VP3402 has 6,080 DSP Engines against 5,760 variable-precision DSP blocks on the SX 2800.

Both have transceivers: 96 at up to 28.3 Gb/s on the SX 2800 and 56 at up to 112 Gb/s on the XC2VP3402.

The SX 2800 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the XC2VP3402 with AMD Vivado.
