Highlighted values are higher. LUT counts are shown as published; the LUT4 equivalent is an approximation to compare different LUT types, see how FPGA vendors count logic. Add up to two more devices to this comparison.

Key differences

The XC2VP3102 has about 15% more logic capacity (1030K vs 899K LUT4 equivalents).

They use different logic architectures: the DX 1100 is built from ALMs and the XC2VP3102 from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (449K vs 643K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the XC2VP3102 has 3,332 DSP Engines against 2,592 variable-precision DSP blocks on the DX 1100.

The XC2VP3102 has more on-chip memory (125 Mb vs 107 Mb).

Both have transceivers: 32 at up to 57.8 Gb/s on the DX 1100 and 32 at up to 112 Gb/s on the XC2VP3102.

The DX 1100 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the XC2VP3102 with AMD Vivado.
