Highlighted values are higher. LUT counts are shown as published; the LUT4 equivalent is an approximation to compare different LUT types, see how FPGA vendors count logic. Add up to two more devices to this comparison.

Key differences

The XCVU440 has about 198% more logic capacity (4053K vs 1359K LUT4 equivalents).

They use different logic architectures: the GX 2100 is built from ALMs and the XCVU440 from LUT6, so the raw LUT counts (680K vs 2533K) are not directly comparable.

For arithmetic, the GX 2100 has 3,744 variable-precision DSP blocks against 2,880 DSP slices on the XCVU440.

The GX 2100 has more on-chip memory (127 Mb vs 88.6 Mb).

Both have transceivers: 96 at up to 28.3 Gb/s on the GX 2100 and 48 at up to 16.3 Gb/s on the XCVU440.

The GX 2100 is designed with Altera Quartus Prime and the XCVU440 with AMD Vivado.
